THE "GREAT THUMB FLY-IN
BOAT ANCHOR - AM - WINTER MEET of..... '08"
Hi John.
Mr. W8MNQ/Bob suggested that I send some of
the photos of our vacuum tube, heavy metal rig and
fly-in get together for posting at the Thumb Net
site.
All five of us had a great time...that we will
never forget.
Bob/w8mnq gave us a tour of Pt Huron and some of
its
sites and re-building that is going on.
I left home at 0800 and got home at 2030, really
was whipped but
felt like a kid after Christmas.
All neat guys.
Told Warren I would take the Net tomorrow morning.
Ck out the last picture, jack has the 1st air
force one, in his hanger and is
the chief pilot of it!
